Thanks to everyone for helping make our evening magical! The weather and the evening appeared to be as perfect as we could have hoped for. It was such fun to celebrate with all of you! We hope you had a wonderful evening!

Wedding Weekend / Day has arrived! Welcome to Downtown Chicago!

We are so happy that you have chosen to spend time with us and help celebrate. We have done our best to try to ensure that you enjoy a nice evening. We cannot express enough how lucky we are to have such wonderful friends and family!

Parking

The following parking options are available:

Church of the Holy Family

Parking is available in the Church lot for the ceremony, but do not leave your car here as the gated lot may be closed shortly afterwards.

Adler Planetarium

$15 parking is available in the lot next to the Adler for the wedding reception.

Royal Sonesta – Chicago River North

The Royal Sonesta Chicago River North suggests using the Self-Park Garage (10 E Grand Ave,). If you check-in first and drop-off your luggage, the front desk will advise you to go to this Self-Park Garage can and provide you with a parking pass for a fee ($26 for a daily pass, $35 for a day pass with in & out). You can also reserve a parking space here using parking apps such as Spot Hero.

Wedding Day Shuttle Schedule Schedule

Shuttle Service Between Royal Sonesta &
Church of the Holy Family – 1080 W Roosevelt Rd

Saturday, 31st – 2:00pm, 2:30pm
Return Times – 4:30pm & as needed

Shuttle Service Between Royal Sonesta &
Adler Planetarium – 1300 S Lake Shore Dr

Saturday, 31st – 5:30pm – 7:00pm (approx. every 25mins)
Return Times – 10:45pm – 12:45pm (approx. every 25mins)

For our in town guests that may be attending both the ceremony and the reception, we recommend that you park near the hotel (Self-Park at 10 E. Grand) and take advantage of the shuttle service.

To the extent possible, you may want to minimize using your car throughout the day because downtown Chicago will be very busy with the Lollapalooza Festival that is going on.

You will also have the options of using taxis, Uber or Lyft if those options are preferred.

The rooms come in 4 configurations but as rooms are booked some configurations may drop off the link. If the room configuration you want doesn’t appear on the link, please let us know at ria_dennis@ourwedding2021.com and we can have them update the options or you can try contacting the Royal Sonesta @ 786-594-2805.

The deadline for our group rate and rooms is 6/30/2021! Book your rooms now as it will be unlikely that I will be able to get you the discount later. If you don’t see the room configuration you need please send an e-mail (ria_dennis@ourwedding2021.com) to me so that I can get it fixed.

Save the Date

Hello Everyone,

We have sent out Save the Date cards to all we are hoping to invite to our wedding celebration.

We are optimistic that Chicago will allow us to celebrate with all of you but we will have to wait and see. It’s Still On, 7-31-2021!

Hello Everyone!

It is a new year and we can all be happy that 2020 is behind us. We still have a wedding to celebrate this year and with vaccinations well underway, it looks like there is a good chance that we will all be able to get together. At this time, Chicago gatherings are still limited to 50 so if that does not change, we won’t be able to invite everyone. We are optimistic and hopeful that this will change so we will keep you posted as soon as it does! For now, if you can, please save the date.
